Your pension

The main benefit from the Fund is a retirement pension. This is payable for life from the Fund’s retirement date, and how much you receive will depend on how many years’ service you had with the company and your final salary before leaving employment.

Different terms apply to various groups within the Fund, so in order to receive an up to date quotation of the value of your pension, you will need to contact the Fund Administrator.

As well as a retirement pension for former employees, benefits may be paid in certain circumstances to family members on death, as well as dependants’ pensions to surviving spouses or partners.

It is important to keep the Fund Administrator informed of any changes to your address or circumstances so that we can pay all the benefits which are due. It is also important to make sure you complete a nomination form and keep it up to date so that the Trustee knows who you would like your benefits to be paid to (where appropriate) after your death.
